- 3boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized chunks
- 1 teaspoonsalt
- 1 teaspoon fresh crackedblack pepper
- 2 teaspoonsonion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or Herbes de Provence
- 1 teaspoon paprika, optional
- Crushedred chili pepper flakes, optional
- 2 bunch of asparagus, rinsed and trimmed
- 1/2 cupbutter, melted
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce, optional (we used Sriracha)
- 1/4 cup (60ml)low-sodium chicken broth or soy sauce
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon minced parsley
- Slices of lemon, for garnish

Baked Chicken Bites Recipe
These little garlic butter baked chicken bites combine our favorite things – garlic, butter, chicken, and asparagus. They go sowell together, and we bet you have at least two or three of those things in your kitchen right now. Baked chicken bites and asparagus are the perfect sheet pan dinner and you can make it in 40 minutes.
How to make theBaked Chicken Bites
making oven-baked chicken bites is pretty quick and easy. First, dice chicken breast in regular bit sizes; then marinate with onion powder, salt, pepper, paprika, chili pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. In the meantime, trim and rinse the asparagus. Arrange asparagus and chicken in a sheet pan and make the lemon garlic butter sauce by mixing lemon juice, olive oil, chicken broth, melted butter, hot sauce, and minced garlic. Drizzle the sauce over chicken and asparagus and bake in a 400ºF (200ºC) oven for 20 or 25 minutes.

Directions
1. To prepare the baked chicken bites: preheat your oven to 400ºF (200ºC). Start toslice chicken breasts into bite-sized chunks and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, red crushed chili pepper flakes, paprika, and onion powder. Marinate in a bowl while you prepare the asparagus and the sauce.
2.Wash and trim the ends of the asparagus. Drain and arrange on one side of the baking sheet, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
3.In a small bowl, combine melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, hot sauce, chicken broth (or soy sauce), and lemon juice.
4. Arrange chicken bites next to the asparagus in the sheet pan, then drizzle the chicken bites and asparagus with the lemon butter sauce.
5.Transfer to the oven and bake at 400ºF (200ºC) for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink on the inside. Remove from oven, garnish the chicken bites and asparagus with parsley, crushed chili pepper, and lemon slices and serve your garlic butter baked chicken bites and asparagus immediately. Enjoy!❤️

Tips for the baked chicken bites and asparagus recipe
- If your asparagus is thick, you can blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes, then soak in ice water to stop the cooking process.This way, asparagus will roast faster and evenly in the sheet pan. You can skip this step if you have skinny asparagus.
- Make sure to dice chicken breast to regular size to ensure even baking.
- One good trick is to freezethe chicken for 45 minutes to make cutting the chicken bites easier and less messy, but make sure to bring it to room temperature before baking.
- You can customize the seasoning to your liking: try honey and mustard, taco seasoning, Indian spices, etc.
